Fly Fishing
The fishing season in Scotland opens from the 11 February to 30 September. Sporting Scotland books fishing trips on first class fishing beats on well-known rivers and lochs throughout Scotland.
Fortuitously, the company is within casting distance of one of Scotland’s big four salmon fishing rivers, the River Spey. Here, Sporting Scotland has the privilege of working with Ian Gordon one of the world’s most respected fly fishing instructors and an international Spey casting champion. Individuals and corporate groups can mutually benefit from Ian’s expertise. Ian offers specialised tuition to novice and advanced fly fishers and has developed a digital analysis tool to evaluate and optimise the client’s fishing performance.

Falconry
Sporting Scotland offers the opportunity to observe the ancient sport of falconry in the wilds of the Highlands’ Monadhliath Mountains, where peregrine falcons are flown at red grouse in a natural contest. The birds hunt over 7000 acres of hill ground.
On a typical day you will watch a trained pointer working to find the grouse, a peregrine falcon climb hundreds of feet above you, then "wait-on" for the flush before descending on its quarry at speeds over 100 mph.
Sometimes the falcons catch the grouse and sometimes they don’t. Either way, the speed and accuracy of their descent is spectacular.

Sporting Scotland organises customised golf events for both companies and private parties throughout Scotland. Scotland, the home of golf, is one of the world’s most renowned and diverse golf destinations. It has over 550 golf courses and some of the country’s finest luxury hotels and exclusive country houses. The golf season runs from April to September with the summer months being the most popular.
